Household jobs can keep you moving without appearing on any activity plan. Carrying laundry, putting things away and sweeping a room all involve changing position and moving through the home.
Spread awkward jobs out rather than saving them for one hurried burst. Keep loads manageable and use appropriate equipment for reaching or lifting. A chair is not a substitute for a suitable step stool, and an uncomfortable task is not improved by treating it as exercise.
If a job repeatedly causes pain or feels unsafe, change the setup, ask for help or seek suitable advice. There is no benefit in persisting simply to finish the list.
Some days the practical achievement is a cleared surface and an easier route through the room. That is worthwhile on its own. Household movement does not need a calorie estimate or a competitive label to be part of an ordinary active day.
